Why hello my beautiful friends! I hope you are doing fabulous :)

Did you enjoy the Super Bowl last night? Ravens or 49ers? Beyonce's performance? Blackout? Such a crazy night!

~

I've been wanting to do one of these celebrity style posts for a while, because they are so fun to do! Let me know if you like these, because I may do more in the future.

Don't know Eleanor Calder? She is Louis Tomlinson's stunning girlfriend. They're one of those couples you could honestly fangirl over for hours...

Her style is very relaxed, yet girly. She wears lots of looser fitting pieces. She is also very trendy, rocking her high waisted shorts, high-low skirt and peter pan collars!

I just love her. And them. Don't break up. PLEASE!

Do you like her style? I think it's actually pretty similar to mine. Just chill and cute. Nothing too revealing, nothing too much, just relaxed.

Also, her hair is always in a messy bun or pretty, casual waves. So ELegant. See what I did there? I'm just too clever. You have permission to cut my fingers off now.

ear cuffs.

Why, hello! Thanks for dropping by and catching up!

After coming home from school early (roughly 12pm) for some snow advisories, I've been catching up on some work and relaxing. I mean who doesn't want to spend their Friday nights curled up watching Netflix? Well, I know I'd do it any day! :)

I'm in the middle of Breakfast at Tiffany's and I'm quite enjoying it. It's an interesting story so far.

It's a bit of a break from my recent obsession with Prison Break. Don't ask. I don't even know.

Well anyway... let's carry on with the post.

For today's entry I am sharing one of my personal favorite fashion trends. The ear cuff.

I don't know what it is about the ear cuff that I love so much. It's not something that I ever thought I would get into. It's a little edgy for my taste.

I think I like the fact that it looks like you have a cartilage piercing, but you don't. Sneaky, huh? ;)

Paired with a comfy sweater, I don't look too much like I could give someone a black eye. I look like a girl with an ear cuff. Wow Sydney, good job.

I found this one at Forever 21 and loved it (it was also the only one they had... )! I think the tribal print detailing works with any kind of outfit! Also, the long silver chain and triangle stud sold me.

Excuse the above picture. I can be a nut with a camera sometimes. Someone needs to take it away from me. Actually scratch that, I'd probably throw a tantrum.

I've seen these handmade before and think that they are so cute! I'll leave a little gallery below of some other adorable ones that I don't own.

cozy days ~ pullovers

Hello wonderful people! Today I'm talking about one of the best things about the cold weather ~ pullovers.

Call them what you want. Sweaters, pullovers, jumpers, I've heard it all. Nevertheless, these cozy sweaters are a winter necessity.

Sweater 1

AHHHH it's Little Things!!! I freaked out when I got this for Christmas. Best. Gift. Ever. I love this sweater! I have to wear it whenever it is clean. It's a #directionerthing (Hint: It says "I'm in love with you and all these little things <3>

Sweater 2

This next sweater is my Christmas sweater. It has pink and green snowflakes on it!

I actually thrifted this piece! It's a great way to save a little money after draining your bank account over Christmas. I know some people think its strange to shop for used clothing, but I think that if you buy a nice thick sweater, it feels better used! Since it has been washed many times before, it is softer and cozier!

happy new year.

Happy New Year, lovelies! It's time to write resolutions, reminisce good memories and make some new ones! I hope this new year brings lots of joy and happiness to each and every one of you readers!

Even though I didn't attend a New Year's Eve party this year, it's always fun to celebrate a little bit! A little glitter never hurt anyone, did it?

It is a bit too late to take inspiration for the New Year's parties you may be attending, but these looks work for and upcoming event you may be going to!

I absolutely adore New Year's fashion. It's that one day of the year that glitter and sparkles looks good on everyone (and isn't the least bit 'too much'). Will you rock your New Year's dress, shorts, or nails?

Quick Overview ~ I'm going to leave a lookbook below of my favorite New Year's pieces followed by a little bit about what I did myself this year. Take a look ;) Oh! If you click on the pictures it will open another tab with the website from where I found it!!

From bebe, we have our first two pieces. These are also the highest priced items I have to show you today. The sequins on these dresses help make them really 'pop'.

I love the cut of the one on the left and how the mesh keeps this dress more conservative. The gold is a really classic sparkly color for any of you girls out there who like to keep it a bit more basic (more or less).

I picked the one on the right out because of the chevron pattern. Chevron has been a really big trend all year and I think it works very nicely on this dress! This is definitely a trendy choice!

These next two items I picked from Forever 21 really reflect my personal style. I would definitely grab these for a New Year's celebration!

The item on the left is not for everyone, but I love it! Paired with a solid colored flowing top, you could make this top look ah-may-zing!

The one on the right is a gorgeous A-line dress with loads of glitter! It's an all around flattering choice that really catches my eye. Paired with a bold statement necklace like in the picture, this dress would be stunning.

These last two pieces from Charlotte Ruse are adorable as well! I love the sparkly bottoms on each of the models!

This first dress on the left (yes, a dress) incorporates a bright chiffon-style top and a silver glittery skirt. I think this is a fun way to add some sparkles without being, well, covered in them!

The piece on the right, like the pants above, are a cute and more casual alternative to a dress. With a pair of tights and some heels, these are a great choice!

This year, I decided that I should stay low-key and just go for a nice glittery mani! It was so fun to just take some time on New Year's Eve and pamper myself. What a relaxing way to ring in the New Year. :)

I used Frenzy by Sinful Colors to get my look. It's a fun glittery polish with lots of purples and blues. I'll put some pictures below to show you how it turned out.

Casual Winter OOTD

Hey everyone!! I hope you are enjoying yourselves on this gorgeous winter day! I thought that you might enjoy a quick Outfit Of The Day (OOTD) to kick off my fashion section.

I thought that this casual winter outfit was so cute! It incorporates some of my favorite things about winter fashion.

To begin with, you've got these nice brown riding boots, a staple piece that you'll be wearing all season!

A plain, loose shirt, like the one I have on from JC Penny is a great way to 'top off' a casual outfit. It goes perfect with a nice pair of jeans, like the ones below.

During the colder months, I practically live in skinny jeans. They never go out of style and can be paired with just about anything! With a nice belt, jeans are your best bet.

The earrings that I'm wearing from Claire's are my favorite pair right now. I love the long chain holding the gold and silver leaves. They really add a lot to this otherwise basic outfit.

My nails are painted this dark mauve/red color. I think its a great alternative to your classic red. This was actually a magnetic nail polish, but the magnet didn't really work. I loved the color though, so I just painted it on regularly.
